FAQs

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO COME?
That decision is always yours to make. Obviously, injuries that have been building over a lifetime will take weeks to months to begin to stabilize and longer to correct as completely as possible. Then you get to decide how long you want to have and keep that healthier spine, nervous system and body.

HOW OLD SHOULD YOU BE TO BEGIN RECEIVING ADJUSTMENTS?
The birth process is a very traumatic experience for most of us, and it takes its toll on the spine and nervous system. Add to that the stresses and strains from creeping, crawling, learning to walk, falling, playing and so forth along with the rapid growth of the young body and the potential for injury and damage is large. We recommend having your infants examined for subluxations of the spine at the earliest possible opportunity after birth.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN PRACTICE?
Since 1976.

DO ADJUSTMENTS HURT?
Most people feel wonderful when they get adjusted. Young children sometimes argue about who gets to go first, and sometimes young infants are adjusted while sleeping and are not disturbed at all. Of course, if there is enough damage to some of the areas of the spine, there may be some initial discomfort.

WHAT'S THAT NOISE THAT I HEAR?
Nobody knows for sure, but it’s thought to be a type of interaction between the fluids and the gasses that occur naturally in the joints of your body for lubrication.
