FAQ
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Visits are $40.00. We will, of course, work to help arrange a a
convenient payment plan if necessary.
HOW LONG DO I NEED TO COME?
That decision is always yours to make. Obviously, injuries that have
been building over a lifetime will take weeks to months to begin to
stabilize and longer to correct as completely as possible. Then you
get to decide how long you want to have and keep that healthier
spine, nervous system and body.
HOW LONG ARE THE VISITS?
Generally about five minutes.
HOW OLD SHOULD YOU BE TO BEGIN
RECEIVING ADJUSTMENTS?
he birth process is a very traumatic experience for most of us, and
it takes its toll on the spine and nervous system. Add to that the
stresses and strains from creeping, crawling, learning to walk,
falling, playing and so forth along with the rapid growth of the
young body and the potential for injury and damage is large. We
recommend having your infants examined for subluxations of the spine
at the earliest possible opportunity after birth.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN
PRACTICE?
Since 1976.
DO ADJUSTMENTS HURT?
Most people feel wonderful when they get adjusted. Young children
sometimes argue about who gets to go first, and sometimes young
infants are adjusted while sleeping and are not disturbed at all. Of
course, if there is enough damage to some of the areas of the spine,
there may be some initial discomfort.
WHAT’S THAT NOISE THAT I HEAR?
Nobody knows for sure, but it’s thought to be a type of interaction
between the fluids and the gasses that occur naturally in the joints
of your body for lubrication.
WILL I GET TO MEET THE DOCTOR
DURING THE FIRST VISIT?
Yes. Before the first visit evaluation you will have an opportunity
to discuss your situation in detail with Dr. Ward.
IS THE DOCTOR RESPONSIVE TO
QUESTIONS?
Yes, as time permits during the visit. Or special telephone
consultations can be arranged so that others are not unduly delayed
in the office. There are also workshops in the office most Tuesday
nights where a great deal of information is discussed, and a lot of
questions answered.
WILL I BE ADJUSTED ON THE FIRST
VISIT?
No. The information that we get during that first visit needs to be
correlated with the x-rays, that need to be evaluated. We need to be
sure that we have all the information that we need before we start
work ing on your spine.
